Ev Charging Platform Specialist

We are looking for an **EV Charging Platform Specialist **who is motivated to join a scale-up company in the e-mobility sector and use their technical expertise to find the best EV solution for our customers. In this role you will engage our customers, both onsite and remote, in a technical consultancy and advisory role during the pre-sales process devising effective end-to-end solutions and maximizing sales opportunities. You will enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of teams internally and externally, especially with Virta's Sales, Product and Technology teams.

**What you’ll do
- Solve customer software issues of broad scope and high complexity
- Educate customers on the value proposition with your knowledge of the Virta solution and associated technologies
- Take ownership of discovery phase and turn customer ideas into functional product offering in collaboration with internal teams
- Build, present, and document customer solutions during pre-sales
- Initiate and deliver the best value proposition for customers, from Proof-of-Concept to showcase under technical feasibility
- Guide technical idea evaluations, use case, RFP/audit support, and discovery workshop phases
- Provide technical proposals, presentations, and solution for tenders and RFQs
- Propose improvements and innovation for customer calls and product demonstrations based on current market trends
- Propose the technical solution and oversee the selection of technologies and products and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple solutions exist
- Support sales team in general sales and tender processes requiring technical expertise
- Provide mentorship for Solution Architecture team members and remain a current contributor to team-learning initiatives and activities Become an expert in one or more technologies related to the Virta solution

**To succeed in this role you will have
- Proven work experience in Charge Point Management System (CPMS) of the charging ecosystem in an international setting
- Experience with Integrations or Charging Network Interoperability is seen as a great advantage
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Ability and willingness to travel as required (national and occasional international travel) Right to work in the EU

Our current technology stack includes the below. We are not expecting that you will have experience in these.
- NodeJS microservices with Typescript and NestJS
- React based end user UI’s
- MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka, all running on AWS
- Microservice deployment on top of Kubernetes
- Virta Kiosk payment solution Bamboo, Bitrise and Drone, GitLab Pipelines for CI/CD
