Supervisory Customer Service Technician Nf-03

**Duties**:
- Actively directs work of the Value-Added Tax (VAT) Office by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support functions. Assigns, directs, and supervises the work of assigned staff
- Receives service requests from customers. Responds proactively, verbally or in writing to assure appropriate actions in dealing with the customer base.
- Advises staff in problem solving methods and action. Reviews data from various sources for system input. Establishes and maintains electronic and/or hard copy records on customer accounts.
- Facilitates and coordinates communication and transactions with staff, customers and organizational department managers to ensure accurate account maintenance. Responsible for preparation of document distribution to customers.
- Creates work schedules. Reviews leave for approval, determines performance objectives, and performs performance ratings. Assists in developing policies and procedures for more effective operations.

- A probation period of one year may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Successfully complete a health screening. Immunizations required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
**Qualifications**:
One (1) year of demonstrated experience in data processing and customer service.
One (1) year of demonstrated experience leading employees and directing work.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Highly Preferred Criteria**
- Possess six (6) months of work experience in a supervisory position.
- Possess One (1) year of VAT Office experience.
- Proficiency speaking, writing, and reading the German language.
