Cyberspace Operations Planner

**Duties**: **The primary purpose of this position is**:Serves as the **Deputy Division Chief, Operations Division** of the Cyberspace Operations Cyber Operations-Integrated Planning Element (CO-IPE)-U.S. European Command (USEUCOM.) CO-IPEs are the forward extensions of Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQs) and provide cyberspace planning expertise and reach-back to US. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and its components to ensure the supported Combatant Command (CCMD) requirements are met. **DUTY 1 -** Manages Cyberspace Operations activities. **DUTY 2 -** Provides operational, managerial, procedural, policy requirements and oversight along with resource activities. **DUTY 3 - **Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. **DUTY 4 -** Represents CO-IPE at meetings, conferences, and events. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - U.S. Citizenship Required - All new CES employees are required to complete a three-year CES trial period - Must Obtain/Maintain Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. Position maybe required to attain a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph. - Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide - This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. - This is a Mission Essential position performing a MCF which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. IAW, DoDI 3020-42, Defense Continuity Programs. - The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. - Employee must maintain current certifications - Disclosure of Political Appointments - Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit - Advance in hire may be authorized if there is demonstrable proof provided on your resume - Employees and family members requiring medical/dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining/paying for care. Access for these members to military medical/dental treatment facilities is on space-available/reimbursable basis only. - CENTRALLY MANAGED - The employee may be recalled to duty; may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. - May be required to work overtime; and shift work and on-call may be required on an as-needed basis to cover contingency and crisis action planning efforts. - Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a passport, both official and tourist. - Mobility is a condition of employment. Employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. (Note: See AFI36- 202, dated 19 Aug 2019, for guidance.) - Pre-employment physical examination is required. Certificate of Medical Examination Recommendations, Memorandum In Lieu of OF-178 Part C/D, is required. **Qualifications**: **Salary Ranges includes local market supplement - DC Locality Pay** *** **This is a GG-14 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.** **SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE**: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Comprehensive range of knowledge of DoD cyberspace mission, authorities, and capabilities; equivalent information regarding the roles and responsibilities of non-DoD cyberspace program partners. Expertise in one or more of the following fields: CO, IO, Special Technical Operations and capabilities, Cyberspace Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CISR) and/or detailed interaction with the Combatant Command and Intelligence Community (IC). Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs**): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.
