About the Role:
The Business Development Executive position creates and secures qualified business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Driving sales growth and pipeline through lead generation and qualification of inbound leads
- Producing creative strategies for targeting and engaging decision-makers at prospect accounts
- Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Building a pipeline of qualified business opportunities to secure new business accounts for LexisNexis
- Meeting monthly with Management to share success stories and discuss effective sales and business development strategies
- Carrying out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional

**Requirements**:

- Have previous relevant sales/customer service experience
- Be comfortable with cold calling and developing opportunities from scratch
- Be a great listener, quick thinker, and the ability to work solo and as a team
- Display solid verbal and written communication skills
- Have great attention to detail and the ability to follow defined processes
- Have good time management skills
