Quality Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
As a specialist (f/m/d) in quality management, you will be part of a dedicated team at the Ratingen site and ensure the quality of our global customers. You will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations while ensuring the sustainable and safe operation of our products. As a project manager, you will represent the voice of the customer in the local teams and make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction through your commitment. You will also report to the Head of Customer Care GIS team and support as well as maintain the quality management system, managing all aspects in accordance with ABB Group/Division/Business Unit requirements. - Analyze and evaluate project related customer complaints in an international context - Develop and implement appropriate immediate actions to resolve the complaints in direct customer contact - Initiation and coordination of international service assignments - Systematic analysis of error causes using standard quality tools - Checking returned components in coordination with the relevant specialist departments - Initiating sustainable corrective measures to improve product and process quality - Writing customer statements

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Successfully completed (technical) university degree or technician degree in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics
- Initial experience in quality management and project management desirable, committed career starters are also welcome
- Basic understanding of gas-insulated medium-voltage switchgear and products
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of SAP
- Fluent language skills (German and English), both written and spoken
- High solution orientation combined with strong communication skills in an international environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and independence in working on projects
- Problem-solving, team-oriented and results-oriented
