**About the team**:
Our Finance team is responsible for accounting, controlling and reporting as well as communication to our investors. The team's mission is to support our rapid growth by implementing efficient, business-oriented financial processes and providing flawless forecasts and business plans. Our Finance collaborates with all teams at LIQID as well as external stakeholders such as our shareholders (including Toscafund, LGT, HQ Trust and Project A), auditors and tax advisors. In addition to our overall Financial Statements, the Finance team also measures itself by advising on all strategic initiatives relevant to our business (e.g. new product launches, internationalization, and organizational build-up).

**About the role**:
**As an Intern (all gender) in Finance & Controlling you will be part of our two-person Finance Team, consisting of the Senior Finance & Controlling Manager and our Accountant. As such, you will learn about a wide spectrum of financial topics, supporting you to become a true finance generalist.**

With your focus on details and your passion for numbers, you will support us in all daily business tasks. Whether accounts payable or accounts receivable, you will take care and thus ensure an organized and efficient accounting system at LIQID. Exciting further projects are waiting for you and your bright personality. Along the way you will be guided by our experienced team where our dutch Senior Finance & Controlling Manager - Jeroen will be your buddy.

- Whether it's invoicing, preparing bank transfers or monitoring incoming and outgoing payments - together with your team you rock our daily business.
- You will support the coordination with our tax advisor.
- You can build/read/write reports - whether for our management or for external stakeholders, such as our shareholders or auditors.
- You proactively contribute your ideas, analyze new business models, think about initiatives and thus contribute to the active development of our department.
- There are more cool projects waiting for you right now: the implementation of a new forecasting/budgeting tool, the change to a new tax advisor, the optimization of our accounting software NetSuite and much more.

**About you**:

- You are a matriculated student, at least having finished the first 2 years of your Bachelor program, ideally in a business degree program with a focus on finance, accounting and/or controlling.
- Your interest in financial topics is unstoppable and a #nicetohave is if you have already gained some first work experience, for example through first internships in finance, banking, or consulting.
- Your PowerPoint slides are impressive? Can you build pivot tables with ease? Excellent
- Numbers don't scare you. On the contrary, you really flourish here and work carefully, structured and have great attention to detail.
- You are not afraid to proactively contribute your ideas, ask questions and work independently.
- You can and like to communicate fluently in English. Communicating in German is beneficial but not required. Most importantly: you manage to communicate complex financial topics in simple words to non-finance colleagues.
- As we deal on a day-to-day basis with highly confidential information, you show the highest level of integrity and have sound judgement on what information can be shared widely.
