Reach your full potential as Financial Assistant

As a Financial Assistant, you will be part of our Finance team. Together you make sure all the financial processes go according to plan.

Your daily tasks will be:

- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Dunning/receivables management
- Cash and bank accounting
- Support in invoice and condition control
- Execution of payment runs
- Maintenance and administration of incoming and outgoing payments
- Correspondence with business partners and their debtors
- Collaboration on monthly and annual financial statements as well as tax returns

You are an organisational talent and known for your helpful attitude. In addition, you have strong analytical and communication skills. That’s why you know how to deliver a clear message to your target group.

You
- completed a training, for example as a Financial Accountant, Accounting Clerk, administrative Clerk or a comparable training
- have working experience in the field of Financial Accounting
- have a high level of self-motivation, a sense of responsibility and strong communication skills
- are skilled in MS Office, especially in Excel
- have an excellent command of written and Spoken German and a good command of the English language

Hellwege Spirituosen und Wein-Vertriebs GmbH is one of the leading suppliers of spirits, sparkling wine, champagne and wine in Germany and Europe. We are part of B&S HTG B.V., a leading international distributor headquartered in the Netherlands, but we operate independently in the market. Hellwege is located in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld.

Our customers include national and international specialist wholesalers, beverage pick-up markets, speciality stores, C+C operations, online stores and individual food retail outlets. We recently went live with our own e-commerce platform for our B2B customers. On the procurement side, we work very closely with small and large spirits suppliers in Germany and other European countries. This way, we can offer our customers a wide range of products for attractive prices.

With immediate effect, we are also acting as the exclusive German distributor of selected international premium spirits brands on the market - an important additional business area we will continue to develop and expand strategically in the coming months and years.
