**Duties**:
The Executive Secretary supports the Deputy Principal Officer (DPO), the second-highest position at the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt. The U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt is the fourth largest diplomatic post with 39 entities from 10 Federal Agencies. The Executive Secretary reports to the Consul General's (CG) Office Management Specialist (OMS) and is responsible for all administrative support for the DPO. The Executive Secretary is the primary back up for the CG OMS.
The incumbent serves as the primary liaison between the DPO, agencies at post, U.S. Military Commands in the consular district, and German business contacts. The Executive Secretary manages schedules, the flow of information and documents, and coordinates daily with the CG's OMS and the Protocol Assistant.

**Option #1**:
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years office management experience required.
EDUCATION: Two (2) years of college course work in the field of business administration, business, management, liberal arts, languages, sciences, accounting, or general studies is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of office management, maintaining schedules, and operation of standard office equipment.

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years office management experience required.
EDUCATION: Secondary school is required.

LANGUAGE: Mandatory: English - Fluent; speaking/reading/writing. This will be tested.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Computer literacy required including keyboards skills, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Internet experience required.
