Hybrid Work Model
**Job Description**:
The person we are looking for will provide support in Technical Systems and Engineering across our Service Centres within DACH.
Your responsibility:
- Ensure that all necessary safe work practices are adhered to by both CHEP and contractor personnel,
- Ensure sites are audited and checked for safe operation of equipment,
- Ensure all legislative requirements related to engineering and site services are being met,
- Ensure all electrical and mechanical standards are followed,
- Ensure all best practice and improvements to standards are captured through change request process,
- Coordinate training of on-site personnel as needed for system operation and maintenance. Provide with support in proper handoff of completed projects to include as-built drawings, maintenance and operations manuals, and spare parts lists,
- Ensure critical spares are available through efficient spare parts management,
- Provide with support on maintenance strategy and support immediate response to regional plant breakdowns,
- Participation in machinery audits in Service Centres to check compliance of preventive maintenance Deploy and maintain CMMS system across Service Centres,
- Provide with support in the Commissioning, Qualification Verification phase of start-ups for projects.
Our requirements:
- Tech qualification, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent experience,
- 1-2 years experience in maintenance programs or project engineering and / or 1-2 years of related operations / manufacturing environment,
- Experience in commissioning of equipment,
- Experience in management of change desirable,
- Mechanical and Electrical engineering knowledge,
- Knowledge of standards and Directives,
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
- Good listening skills / good organisational skills / strong interpersonal and networking skills / Strong analytical and technical skills - including risk mitigation and problem resolution,
- Languages: fluent English is a must, any other European language is a nice to have.
