**Your role**:
As our Director of Marketing & Growth you become part of our management team and join forces with us to build a world of confident home cooks who feel inspired, enabled and at ease in their kitchen. Working hand-in-hand with our founder and CEO Mengting you are responsible for building a sustainable customer acquisition strategy to achieve our ambitious user growth goals. You empower and lead the marketing team across a multiple set of channels, through insights, analysis and your track record of experience and success.

Your key responsibilities are:

- Further develop our overall marketing and growth strategy to increase our organic user base and traffic on our website, in our apps and on our social media platforms
- Be our growth advocate of Kitchen Stories: Make sure that whatever we do, we keep in mind how this will affect our (potential) users, retention and overall traffic
- Develop and execute the most impactful SEO and ASO strategy, content partnerships and user acquisition initiatives on our social media platforms
- Set up a successful CRM strategy to convert new users into loyal KS fans
- Help to set up a data-driven and KPI orientated environment with the best tracking and analytic tools to monitor, evaluate and optimize the performance of our marketing activities with the support from our data and BI teams
- Develop and coordinate our daily marketing activities, prioritize channels for scaling and experimentation and expand to new channels together with your team
- Get creative when it comes to figuring out the most promising growth hacking opportunities
- Lead and develop the Marketing & Growth team by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and empowering them with the tools and framework they need to succeed

**Your profile**:

- You come with demonstrated work experience in publisher or app marketing and a start-up/scale-up environment
- You understand how to adapt different marketing strategies and tactics to our specific environment as a web and app publisher and have ideas on how to remain competitive
- You have strong problem solving skills rooted in data-driven insights that guide sound decision making, across product, brand and growth teams
- You are a seasoned manager as well as team player with excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills and a hands-on mentality
- You come with previous leadership experience, lead by example in your interactions within and outside of your department, focused on collaboration, clear and constructive communication, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Besides excellent communication skills in English, basic German proficiency would be ideal
- You enjoy good food and are inspired by it as a topic
