We are looking for a skilled and passionate Game Designer who will support our inhouse development teams in building fun and high-retention mobile games.

Sunday is a young and successful startup that develops, publishes and markets hyper-casual mobile games. Our international team of around 50 developers, artists, game designers, marketers and publishing managers reaches an audience of millions of players every day. Our goal is to become one of the leading mobile game companies worldwide within the next years.

We receive immense support to achieve this goal through the AppLike Group. Our sister companies justDice and adjoe provide us with cutting edge marketing and advertising technology. Our growth is secured by a substantial investment from Bertelsmann, one of the biggest media companies worldwide.

**What you will do**:

- You will analyze the market for upcoming trends and ideate new games by combining addictive game mechanics with smart monetization
- You will create clear and crisp design documents and execute the game with developers and artists
- You will iterate on prototypes until you found a well-balanced gameplay that sticks and delivers great KPIs
- You will help design and implement with level design by providing a concise framework and examples for best practices
- You will add depth and content to the game to optimize for long-term retention
- You will optimize Retention and ARPU by balancing gameplay and monetization based on data analysis and A/B tests

**Who you are**:

- You have at least 2 years of experience in game design, preferably in the hyper-casual space
- You are highly analytical and find simple, creative solutions to complex problems
- You are very empathetic and love working with different people from around the world
- You are very passionate about your work. If there is a problem, you are eager to take responsibility and solve it hands-on
