Game Designer

As an Game Designer, you will use your creativity and analytic skills to create awesome, memorable player experiences. You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative game design mechanics for our exciting games and get the chance to work on a brand-new mobile title. Support our proficient team with your knowledge and experience in building something big, develop outstanding new game features and refine existing ones of our free-to-play games; played by thousands of users across the world.

• 2-3 years professional experience in Game Design, preferably on mobile games with engaged player communities. 
• Experience working on at least one released F2P game or major update, ideally including soft-launch/live-ops participation 
• Can clearly articulate your ability to design systems for online multi-player games 
• Proven experience in the balancing of a successful game on browser or mobile 
• Capable of designing basic interface flow and architecture 
• Proficiency in Excel, capacity to understand mathematical modeling in game design 
• Level design experience in Unity is a big plus 
• A creative mindset, exceptional logical and analytical capabilities, able to think from a player's point of view 
• Fundamental understanding of how a good User Experience is designed 
• Experience with Game Design tools and KPI driven design 
• Deep understanding of how game economy & monetization works 
• Passion for games, especially f2p games and their mechanics 
• Fluent in written and spoken English (German is a plus)

• Come up with suitable game mechanics that fall in line with the game's vision 
• Create and maintain comprehensible design documentation 
• Iterate on designs to create great gameplay experiences 
• Use your strong quantitative background to balance multiple variables in new and existing feature designs 
• Communicate with the game team to make them understand the design and the vision of new features 
• Collaborate with both the design and management teams to prepare for and meet milestones 
• Work with cross-functional teams (development, art, QA, product) to ensure a shared understanding of goals and implementation details 
• Maintain a constructive communication to other disciplines 
• Act as a guide for developers when implementing new designs  
• Work with business intelligence research to analyze and understand the target platform, market and audience of a game and its features 
• Support the design team in planning monthly events and monetization options 
• Proactively find problems within the player experience and come up with solutions
