What to Expect
- The position of Warehouse Lead is an exciting role where you are a key figure in a team that ensures the correct and timely processing of parts in our new Giengen DC. This site is a crucial link in our network, covering our customer base in Germany. The supervisor reports directly to the manager and will be responsible for one or more of the warehouse functions of receiving, storing, VAS or outbound processing.

What You’ll Do
- The lead is responsible for the performance of the assigned operational warehouse team and activities. This includes but is not limited to; activities such as the incoming and outgoing flow of goods, value added service activities and improvement of the efficiency, improvement of the overall warehouse process and the leading of direct reports.
- The warehouse interior and the internal transport material in general.
- Ability to explain plans and/or outcome based on data.
- Management and planning of direct report(s)
- Shared responsibility for a correct inventory management and the registration procedures including the correct identifying and registering of the products in the available systems.
- The Warehouse Lead has a responsibility for a clean, safe and representative process environment.
- Successfully fulfilling a variety of operational projects.
- Responsible for conducting team meetings.
- Communicating daily and project(s) progress to colleagues and the Warehouse Supervisor on a daily basis.
- Actively chasing improvements for the process.
- The responsibilities of this position may change over time - this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization

What You’ll Bring
- MBO degree in logistics-/warehouse management or similar
- Working 5-day shift weekly deviating (06:00am until 14:30h and 14:30h until 23:00h) potentially expanding to a 6 days/2-shifts including Saturdays. At peak production we expect responsibility and flexibility to get to work done as a team.

- Pragmatic thinking in terms of (logistic-) processes comes naturally
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment with a minimum of 1-2 years
- Ability to oversee multiple business processes at once
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Access)
- English, verbal and written at conversation level. German at conversation level.
- Safety training internal transport equipment / material
- Stress resistance with great planning and organizing ability
- Drive to get things done and a can do attitude
- Absolute team player
- Strong communication skills, people management, and flexibility
