**The Headlines**:
You will join at a stage of significant growth and will be integral to **acquire and guide the financial systems that empower the business - building top notch finance automation** which effectively supports ambitious growth plans

You’ll have **full ownership of the Finance function working alongside the Founders and senior leadership** team; helping to analyse, strategize, and grow the financial position.

You'll not only understand how to optimise accounting practices and trends but you'll have **proven experience raising capital and adapting to change**

**What will be your objectives?**
- You’ll develop **strategic initiatives to grow the top line and increase profitability**:

- You’ll **support the CEO with future fundraising** (e.g. pitch deck preparations, dataroom, term sheet negotiations)
- Provide the **Board and investors with reporting and analysis** for monthly packs and quarterly meetings.
- Working with your team, **you'll be responsible for all forecasting, cash management; investments; insurance; budgeting and financial reporting** - helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs
- You'll co-ordinate the development of the **annual operating, capital and program budgets**, and reporting against the same
- Ensure **cash flow is compatible with company operations**, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting and internal control activities of the organisation
- Lead the development and **use of best-practice policies, practices and tools** that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organisation with **strong fiscal management,** project management, cross team communications and workflow
- Comply with a**ll tax compliance, filings and local financial requirements** while keeping in line with GAAP and enforcing compliance and taking action
- Automating SaaS based model revenue

**Digging into the details**:

- Work directly with the Founders and senior management to **efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance** and reporting
- ** Research revenue opportunities** and economic trends, analyse internal operations, **identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement**:

- Perform **risk management through analysis of company liabilities** and investments and **evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives**:

- ** Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures** as needed and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting for earnings calls, the management team and the rest of the company
- Manage **finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems**, ensuring compliance with all applicable Financial Accounting Standards Board and Internal Revenue Service

**About you**:

- You'll join us with around **5+ years experience in Finance leadership positions**:

- ** You’ll already have had your first foray into a high growth SaaS product company (and survived it)**:

- You have an **entrepreneurial and data driven** mindset with strong commercial and strategic experience
- Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting or finance or ACA/FCA qualification
- ** Leadership skills**, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- ** Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills**:

- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues and tax planning
- Strong MS Excel and MS Powerpoint skills and affinity with finance and sales and marketing related software tooling (e.g. Zoho)
- Native or fluent German and English
