Payment Solutions Specialist

**Your mission**:

- Integration of payment solutions into internal systems, websites, and apps using APIs
- Support in payment-related decision-making for new projects
- Analysis of transaction data, identification of patterns, and detection of potential issues or fraud attempts
- Identification and resolution of payment issues, both technical and operational
- Act as the central point of contact for our payment service providers
- Development of a payment solutions strategy for the nextbike group
- Coordination with the Finance, Marketing, and IT departments to ensure alignment in payment processes, customer requirements and product development

**Your profile**:

- Degree in Finance, International Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in payment processing with various payment platforms and gateways (e.g., PayPal, Adyen)
- Understanding of security protocols (e.g., PCI-DSS) and country-specific compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PSD2 in the EU)
- Knowledge of the complexities of international payments, such as currency conversions, cross-border fees, taxes, and local payment preferences
- Fluent English language skills (C1), German is nice to have
- Attention to detail: Precision in managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance
- Problem-solving orientation: Ability to quickly identify the root causes of payment issues and propose solutions
- Time management: Ability to meet deadlines, especially in fast-paced environments where payments need to be processed quickly
