You would be able to work in a hybrid model from one of our locations in Chemnitz, Leipzig, Dresden, Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam, London or Helsinki. There is also the option to work fully remotely providing that you are based within one of our office location countries. We would like to extend the Accounting & Controlling team within our Finance organisation and are looking for someone who takes ownership of all accounts payable related tasks, centralised for all European entities. The role requires that you can build strong relationships in - and outside the company, move quickly, not be constrained by how things "used to be" and most importantly that you are ambitious, curious, and passionate about accounting. **What you'll be doing**: - Overall ownership for operational vendor accounting of several European entities (Germany, UK, Netherlands) from invoice receipt till payment - You are responsible for ad hoc payments and recurring payment runs - Communication with suppliers, service providers and internal contacts - Supporting credit card payment processes - Support internal stakeholders with their expense reports - You're contributing the month end closing process as well as ad hoc requests - Improve accounting processes according to our finance org strategy **What you need to be successful**: - You have proven experience in accounting or a relevant education - You enjoy working in a team, discovering new things and contributing to the team's success - Good knowledge about general vendor accounting principles - Good knowledge about standard European VAT taxation rules - Workday Finance experience would be a big plus - **Strong language skills in German (C1) and English (B2) are a must** **We Love Diversity - Equal Employment Opportunity**: Our platforms are for everyone, and so is our workplace.
