This is a full-time, paid position + equity package.

The pharmaceutical and biotech industry has been an innovation engine and its products (medicines and vaccines) have significantly improved humanity's quality of life for decades. However, this historically highly profitable industry is now confronted with rising R&D costs and lower success rates in bringing new medicines to market.

Our mission is to enable pharma and biotech companies to tackle these challenges and free up more capital to develop transformative medicine and treatments for underserved patients.

Through the power of AI, we aim to support pharmaceutical and biotech companies in making their preclinical R&D process more efficient and thereby improving patients’ lives.

Our stealth venture is focused on bringing AI solutions into the drug discovery space with a key focus on optimizing pre-clinical target identification and validation. We are now looking for ambitious Co-founders to join the team and bring this company to life.

Your role

As the Co-founder and CSO of this Stealth start-up, you will be responsible for
defining the company’s vision and strategy alongside the CEO. You would oversee
the building and managing of a high-performing R&D team.

We are looking for stand-out individuals that are driven to disrupt the Pharma and
Biotech industry with AI and to found an outstanding Computational Biotech startup.
- You bring your industry pre-clinical R&D experience to build this company from the ground up with guidance and connections to experts, advisors, and potential new hires
- As a leader we expect you to inspire and coach each member of your team to grow as our company does
- You will continuously build the vision based on market insights and the needs of customers and partners while inspiring the team to achieve it and go beyond
- You will join an existing founding team to take this company from seed to unicorn

**Profile**:

- Ph.D. in computational biology, bioinformatics, or biomedical sciences and demonstrated academic excellence via publications
- 6+ years of proven bioinformatics experience in postdoctoral and biotech/pharma industry setting
- Extensive experience in biology pathway analysis, gene signature identification, statistical modeling, and biomarker identification using multiomics datasets
- A track record of successfully building and leading teams
- An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in uncertain environments, embracing the startup culture, and being aspirational and resourceful;
