**THE COMPANY**

Embea is the first life insurance company that provides coverage exclusively through digital interfaces. Instead of going through brokers, you get insured from within your favorite app or website (Embedded Insurance). Get covered in seconds, thanks to our one-click checkout.

Traditional insurance has lost touch with people’s needs. Nobody wants complicated terms and paperwork. Insurance brokers struggle to keep up with a society that’s more diverse and digital than ever. As a result, the coverage gap is becoming wider from year to year.

We envision a world where fair and affordable insurance is accessible to everyone. Soon all European families will be able to buy insurance protection within an app they love and trust, powered by Embea.

**YOUR ROLE**

As Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer, you work closely with the founding team to implement the company’s strategy. You build and lead a team that designs scalable and customer-centric insurance processes that reach across our internal and external systems. Towards investors, partners, and other external stakeholders, you present Embea as a highly efficient, scalable InsurTech champion.

**YOUR MISSION**
- Co-found and build a digital life insurance company from scratch
- Design and own all processes facing our customers and distribution partners (customer care, sales, claims management, payments,)
- Build and lead an interdisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals
- Measure your success based on a KPI framework you develop and maintain

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- A track record of building scalable processes from the ground up (e.g., as a founder or early team member of a fast-growing company)
- You solve problems in a lean way, using lightweight software solutions
- Strong leadership skills combined with a willingness to make a personal effort
- Experience in highly regulated industries like InsurTech or FinTech
- The ability to prioritize and make pragmatic decisions
