WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

High quality power tools are complex mechatronic systems that are exposed to high dynamic loads. As a member of an interdisciplinary and international team you will analyze a wide variety of operating conditions, validate and improve testing methods and develop load profiles in order to realistically simulate the operating dynamic loads on shaker test bench.

Your tasks will include:

- Prepare, perform and analyze operating vibration measurements and experimental modal analysis
- Operational deflection shapes analysis
- Understand the theory behind state-of-the-art lifetime testing methods
- Develop vibration profiles for various product categories

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

- Are in Pursuit of a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study with interest in structural dynamics and reliability engineering
- Strong analytical skills and passion for practical activities
- Knowledge of Siemens Simcenter Testlab and handling of vibration test systems is a big advantage
- Results driven and proactive, able to achieve targets
- Structured and independent way of working as well as good teamwork and communication skills
- Very good knowledge of English or German
