This position can be occupied in Germany (Aurich, Bremen) or any other location in Germany with the willingness to regularly attend the head quarter in Aurich.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Manage and continuously develop the team of currently 7 team members working in the global function and in the operational area (production)
- Set guidelines or benchmarks for the company's environmental area and ensure company's compliance with environmental statutory obligations
- Develop, lead or supervise projects in the area of environment (e.g. recycling, circular economy, etc.)
- Identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement and prepare recommendations to senior management
- Liaising with external bodies as well as representing ENERCON at selected external related working groups, forums or meetings

**Ihre Qualifikationen**:

- Degree with focus on environment, e. g. environmental management, environmental engineering, environmental science or equivalent
- Technical understanding of key environment and sustainability topics with relevant experience (e.g. hazardous substances, dangerous goods, waste management)
- Well developed leadership skills
- Fluent verbal and written communication in German and English
- Ability to present complex topics and concepts simply to a broad audience and to work autonomously or collaboratively with strict confidentiality
