Role purpose:
The Cloud Platforms & Automation function owns cloud based technology platforms within Digital Channels & Products. The platforms are enabling, orchestrating and exposing Markets and Group capabilities to third parties and Vodafone services. We operate the ‘Container as a Service’ (CaaS) cloud native containerized hosting environment as well as our APIX API Exposure Platform, through which we offer a wide array of services to hundreds of major business partners and millions of customers, in more than 20 markets.

As Cloud Platforms & Automation we enable, orchestrate and expose our digital capabilities to third parties and Vodafone Services.

The role of a Technical Product Owner is an essential part of our agile, ScrumBan based, approach and owns technical products and defines requirements, epics and stories for these products.

The role includes the end-to-end product lifecycle from consulting parties with prospect demands, requirements analysis and definition, prioritization of the backlog and related sprint planning over implementation acceptance to running in production, measured via KPIs.

Further, the role owner manages the liaison with demand raisers, which includes educating on potential re-use of existing products, requirements definition, feedback on analysis, cost estimates and delivery dates.
The Technical Product Owner educated the team(s) on objectives and set priorities of stories for the Scrum team and steers through Governance milestones.

As Technical Product Owner, the role knows the features, functions and use of the technical products in a very profund way.

**Job Responsibility**:

- Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Consult demand raisers on available product capabilities and potential re-use of these; analyses business and proposition requirements and derive and define technical product requirements from these and break down into incremental value add deliveries
- Create Epics and Stories, assure development teams understand purpose and objective; priorities Stories in backlog per the business’ needs
- In close collaboration with Architects, itshall be assured created products and capabilities have a high degree of re-usability, e.g. same or similar requirement / challenge in the future can be met without incremental cost
- End-to-end knowledge: The role knows functionally (what and how) at sufficient level to have informed discussions with stakeholders and customers
- Analyse usage of products incl. correlation patterns and define potential technical enhancements

- Skilled in working with both local and remote stakeholders; skilled in working in multi-national and mulit-location teams
- Business Analysis skills
- Strong communication / stakeholder management
- Can abstract specific vertical proposition requirements into re-usable horizontal product requirements
- Analysis of product usage incl. identification of growth and improvement areas
- Considers lifecycle aspect at product definition stage
