Data Product Owner

Join us as a Data Product Owner (M/F/d) and be part of our agile, cross-functional and international team. You will drive the growth and the optimization of the CheMondis data platform in a very early stage.

YOUR MISSION
- Owning and driving the CheMondis data platform (incl. internal and customer-facing solutions)
- Building and maintaining the backlog as well as writing and refining user stories that capture stakeholder requirements and business goals
- Coordinating an agile team of data engineers and analysts that cultivates technical and operational excellence along with innovation to develop our data platform
- Ensuring the efficiency and focus of the data team by creating a strong alignment of the team towards strategic and operational goals
- Identifying critical metrics to understand our business needs and drive our business performance through interdisciplinary collaboration
- Collaborating closely with marketplace product owners and stakeholders in verifying product hypotheses to facilitate data-driven decisions
- Designing customer behaviour models that have a direct impact on the daily business and long-term development of our marketplace products and services

YOUR PROFILE
- Successfully completed degree with a technical focus (e.g. mathematics, computer science) or comparable qualification as well as sound work experience (3+ years) in the product (management) area
- Deep understanding of digital business models and process expertise to understand user and business needs in order to translate them into technical requirements
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment using the iterative approach of agile product development in interdisciplinary teams
- Profound experience in data exploration and solid knowledge of data mining and big data analytics techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup-like environment
- Outstanding communication skills and the strong desire to collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and stakeholders
- Excellent English skills, German is a plus
