Intern Battery Test Method Development

WHAT'S THE ROLE? As an interdisciplinary and international battery research team at Hilti, we offer you a varied internship in the field of high-power batteries with a special focus on battery testing development. We are looking for a motivated Master´s student with an engineering/science background who is motivated to learn more about lithium-ion batteries and wants to join us in developing advanced test methods for the evaluation of high-performance batteries for power tools. As part of your job, you will support us in developing advanced test methods for our lithium-ion batteries. Your area of responsibility includes the independent preparation and execution of electrochemical battery tests as well as the subsequent evaluation and interpretation of the results. Own ideas for optimization in the context of practical laboratory work and data evaluation are welcome. You will be involved in day-to-day operations and project-related work.
