Based on requirements, target functions, boundary conditions, etc., it is the task of system engineers to develop complex systems that realize the desired functionality as best and efficiently as possible. We work on projects in all aspects of battery system development. The entire development takes place within a structured development process for our customers according to the latest standards and state of the art methodologies.The location is in St. Agatha, Italy.Your TasksYou develop and validate HV battery systems together with a project team. The tasks include:Requirement definition/managementSystem design and dimensioning of battery/hybrid systemsSimulation of the system and its componentsFulfilling of the safety requirementsSupport in supplier selection, supplier management and defining of specificationsDefinition of test procedures, test management and test executionYou coordinate the development within the project teamYou are responsible for the direct technical communication with the customer and the suppliers.You create technical reports and documentation.Necessary SkillsSuccessfully completed studies in the field of engineering, control engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable course of study ideally with industry experience > 3 yearsExperience in the development of battery technologiesHigh level of commitment, engagement, flexibility, and teamwork skillsConfident appearance, good communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to work in an intercultural environmentProfound knowledge and experience in the series vehicle or product development process in the field of e-mobility.Experience in the battery developmentSystem understanding for hybrid and electric vehicles or the willingness to quickly build up system understandingBasic knowledge of electrical machines and power electronics as well as control engineering is an advantageWillingness to travel internationally and work at different locationsStructured and independent working style, willingness to take on further responsibilityCooperative and independent working style as well as teamwork skillsAnalytical thinking, creative approach, willingness to learn and performVery good English and Italian language skills, at least C1-C2 level.Desired SkillsInnovative strength and motivation to performStrong communication skills, empathy and customer orientationAssertiveness and ability to deal with conflictHigh motivation to learnTake on responsibility instead of being a cog in the wheel.
