The global FE team supports our client partners with comprehensive design, system engineering, material and process know-how in the field of technical and fiber-reinforced polymers, functional lightweight construction and CAE-supported multi-material design optimization. Bringing together our global network of material manufacturers, technology providers and tier suppliers enables the resource efficient and cost-effective implementation of new and emerging technologies. YOUR FUNCTIONS In your work as an intern/working student in the expert group "Battery", you will gain comprehensive insights into the systematic development of HV battery systems and support the team in processing research and customer projects: - Benchmark analysis of current & future high-voltage battery systems/architectures (focus E/E) - Support and documentation of the E/E development activities in the "Battery" specialist group - Cooperation and independent processing of internal battery development and research projects - Participation in various customer projects - Support in the preparation of result reports, project documentation, presentation of project results YOUR PROFILE - Passionate about Sustainability, Electrification and Future Mobility - Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable qualification - Good understanding of electrical and mechanical basics in the field of electric drives - Previous knowledge of common development software (E-CAD, CAD, Matlab) - Advanced knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures, traction battery systems (connection of cells/modules, BMS functions, fast charging, thermal management, etc.) - Practical experience in the development of high-voltage systems and system architectures is an advantage - Very good written and spoken German and English skills - Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working THE FORWARD OFFER TO YOU - Responsible tasks in an innovative environment - Great conditions in an open-minded, collegial team - A flat, project oriented and responsive organizational structure able to respond quickly to customer and market requirements - Individual, attractive opportunities for your development in a growing business Required documents: CV, certificates Forward Engineering GmbH
