Head of Product Design

**Your role**:
As the Head of Product Design, you will be a key leader driving Circula’s product development with a hands-on approach, working side-by-side with Product and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for leading, building and growing an efficient product design team, keeping the human-factor at the center of what it does. Your mission is to actively drive product discovery and product delivery projects and support and mentor your team with new learnings and best practices for ongoing success in one of Europe’s
**fastest-growing fintech SaaS companies.**
- You build, lead and mentor the Product Design team, sharing your expert knowledge and advocating Circula’s company values
- You drive the product design vision and strategy forward, aligning with Circula’s company’s vision, mission and goals
- You set a high quality bar, fostering an excellent standard of design output from all product designers in your team
- You are the advocate for our users, representing their interests and thinking of the best solutions to continuously improve their experience when using Circula’s products
- You collaborate cross-functionally, continuously exchanging ideas as part of product exploration with the Product and Engineering teams
- You shape the design system, ensuring it is consistent, followed and constantly improved, offering a holistic user experience
- You deliver actionable designs: journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for all our platforms (web/desktop, iOS, Android)

**Your Qualifications**:
We are looking for a leader with a passion for people, who has a hands-on approach and coaching mentality:

- You have 5+years of professional working experience in Product Design, with an excellent portfolio of work demonstrating your success
- You are a self-starter, sharing our hands-on mentality, being flexible and with great interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong, mutually respectful relationships without losing the eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetic
- You are highly experienced with UX, and ideally have strong UI skills
- You have already built and mentored “A”class design teams before,
- You are structured and organized, having managed and delivered products from start to finish
- You understand how design decisions affect business decisions, and are able to collaborate with the internal tech team to build feasible solutions
- You are a data-driven person, allowing you to make informed business decisions
- You are proactive, bringing new ideas to the table on how we can improve our product, team and processes
- You are willing to learn about the world of accounting, bringing fresh ideas to the field, but respecting the already existing approaches that continue to rule the industry
