For our team "Business Service Center", we are looking for someone in our Eschborn office to strengthen our team as quickly as possible due to our strong growth initially limited for one year: **Market Intelligence and business planning Expert (M/F/d)** **Responsibilities**: - **(1) Identifying Economic Trends in market** - you collect and analyze regional market data, competitors and economics (i.e. Regulations, New National Policies, Incentives etc.) in chemical industry (including but not restricted to Recycle/bio-based/bio-degradable plastic) OR Battery materials industry (including but not restricted to cathodes, separators, etc). - you examine overall macro/microscopic economy in specific country and its effect to EU or world. **(2) Setting up and supporting the med - and long-term business plan** - you develop and create med - and long-term local business plan in Europe based on LG Chem’s strategy. (preferable if you have experience in sustainability topic for plastics or battery business) - you attend trade shows or business intelligence events to build various networks and to develop perspectives on market trend and competitive landscape - Analyzes business trend in terms of company’s product and technology portfolio and derives local business strategy - Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers - Works with other departments to ensure alignment of company goals, as set by senior management - Evaluates appropriate information to forecast the return on future business transactions - Designs and determines terms of business agreements - Supports internal and reporting activities **Requirements**: - successfully completed studies or a comparable qualification - strong passion to understand and extend your experience in market awareness for Chemical, Battery Materials, Battery or OEM industry - excellent skills are required in the following areas: written & verbal communication, accuracy and high proficiency in MS Office programs - fluent German and English language skills (preferable if you can speak Korean) - Passionate about leveraging emerging technology to solve hard problems - Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence - An ability to navigate complex multinational/multicultural organizations **Our Offer**: As a successful international company, we offer you a secure job with challenging, responsible and varied activities.
