**Your Role**:
External Innovation is looking for a working student to support the digitalization of External Innovation approaches. External Innovation is part of Strategy & Business Development at our company. We evaluate the science, technology and development potential of external opportunities and perform proactive searches, scientific competitive intelligence, and opportunity landscapes. Your Role includes working on competitive intelligence platforms and their integration of data assets, data curation, standardizing identifiers, and linking data. You will identify, communicate, and solve potential data issues for the data integration project. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D and beyond and solve data-linking problems based on ontology extraction and data modelling. You will support preparing presentations to communicate competitive insights.
**Qualifications**:
- Power BI and Power query
- Experience in working with data frames, data standardization and harmonization
- Ability to visualize relationships between data assets
- Hands-on attitude and readiness to learn how to use the platform
- Understanding of biological, pharmacological and/or competitive intelligence
- derived data
**Some pluses would be**:
- Python or R experience
- Experience in modelling and semantic web standards
