rhd instruments is a specialist in the field of measurement technology specifically for electrochemistry. Since 2013, we have been supporting our customers with equipment and systems, particularly for battery research. In order to be up-to-date here, we are positioned in a research-oriented manner and are oriented towards future technologies. We are now looking for someone to join our team in Darmstadt as working student (m/f/d) in the area of production/development

Your responsibilities

You will work closely together with our production as well as with our research and development team. Your main tasks will be:

  • Assembly of test cells and test setups
  • Precision mechanical processing of parts
  • Assembly of electronic components including soldering, cable manufacturing, PCB assembly
  • Working with a 3D printer and a CNC portal milling machine
  • Documentation creation and revision
  • Quality checks
Your profile

Your profile matches most of the following points:

  • You study mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or a similar subject.
  • You have experience in processing metals, plastics and have gained initial experience in precision mechanics and/or electrical engineering.
  • You are characterized by your quick comprehension, practical skills and solution-oriented work.
  • You work conscientiously, precisely and reliably and can handle tasks independently after a short training period.
  • You have very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.
