**What you will do**
- Learning LIDAR based channel modeling
- Software development for point cloud data based channel modellng for 6G
- Parallelization of algorithms using GPU-based programming in MATLAB
- Performing LIDAR measurements in different indoor scenarios
- RF and OWC channel modeling in indoor scenarios
- Performing 6G channel measurements
- Experimental validation of the simulation results
- Documentation and maintenance of software
- Reporting scientific results in conferences or journals

**What you bring to the table**
- Full-time student at a German university preferably in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science engineering, physics or a comparable course of study with very good grades
- First experiences with algorithm development preferably using MATLAB
- Basic understanding of wireless communication
- Good knowledge about 5G and 6G systems
- Basic knowledge of the MATLAB toolbox for wireless communication and signal processing
- Interest in GPU programming using MATLAB
- Proactivity and interest in scientific work
- Good communication skills (German/English) and team spirit
- Hands-on laboratory experience is desirable
