- Dortmund, Germany- Swisslog, hybrid- Procurement- Permanent Position**Responsibilities**:

- Make an impact
- As the Head of Procurement for the EMEA region, you act as a trusted business partner to Sales & Project Management and as the procurement key contact of the region
- You ensure the regional implementation of our global strategy and organization, and develop new procurement strategies
- You are responsible for screening the regional supplier market and identify potential strategic suppliers
- You are on top of industry and market trends
- You continuously strive for competitive pricing but also have in mind the mitigation of risks associated with procurement
- You are accountable to manage the Direct Materials Spend together with your regional procurement team

Application Requirements
- What you need to succeed
- You are an experienced leader with an Engineering degree (or commercial degree with good technical knowledge)
- Several years of experience in operative and strategic procurement, preferably project sourcing
- Supply Chain Management experience in comparable industries and project oriented solutions
- Good negotiation & communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with SAP R3 MM with focus on procurement transactions
- You bring drive, energy and passion to move things forward
- Managing risks and setting priorities is a matter of course for you
- Fluent communication in German & English
