**Your responsibilities**:

- Taking over of the functional and professional management and global development of the Commercial Project Management department within the Business Unit Uhde of the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment.
- Guiding all Commercial Project Managers and ensuring project success while directly reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, ensuring alignment with global organizational goals and standards.
- Leading projects by being the project’s CFO and securing the dual control principle.
- Taking over the responsibility for all commercial aspects of the contract as well as the successful handling and completion of our EPC-projects.
- Increasing efficiency and effectiveness in project execution by defining and implementing global project management processes and ensuring their compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Managing interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to address project-related issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborating with Project Cost Controlling to monitor project finances, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions to ensure budget adherence and profitability.
- Implementing, tracking and analyzing KPIs for Project Management to evaluate project performance, identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization efforts.
- Developing strategies and measures to ensure project success by overseeing project reporting activities as well as identifying and evaluating the chances and risks of projects.

**Your profile**:

- 10+ years of professional experience as a Senior Project Manager/Director, preferably within international EPC turnkey projects (chemical, energy and / or mining industry) with volumes up to hundreds-of-million.
- Degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar), supplemented by an economic degree (MBA).
- Proven track record in different Project Management disciplines combined with expertise in establishing complex project scenarios and respective profound knowledge in project management tools.
- Experience in working with corporate decision makers, contractors and internal & external stakeholders.
- International construction site experience over a significant period.
- Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness, open-mindedness and ability to leverage cultural differences.
- A strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of integrity and a keen sense of interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with accounting/financial reporting in SAP and MS Office Package.
- Exceptional organization and coordination skills combined with the ability to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
