**Your responsibilities**:

- Taking over the professional management as well as the global development of the department Contract Management and Subcontracting of the Business Unit Uhde of the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment.
- Directly reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, ensuring global functional alignment with organizational goals and standards and monitoring the project from a contractual point of view.
- Insuring performance for contract management and subcontracting: responsibility for the creation, development, coordination, follow-up and improvement of all relevant processes and related QM-guidelines.
- Taking responsibility for the successful documentation and substantiation when negotiating incoming/outgoing claims from/to third parties.
- Providing contract and claim management support for the Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager during the Bid Management Phase.
- Defining the project specific claim strategy together with the Project Manager and Commercial Project Manager.
- Participation and collaboration within the framework of project-specific contractual conditions with suppliers and (sub-)contractors (back-to-back, flow-down).
- Preparation of contract analysis and execution of contract workshops.
- Participation in project team meetings as well as in meetings with clients and third parties if required.
- Analyzing if potentially internal non-conformities may be addressed to external parties (e.g. clients, subcontractors).
- Participation and collaboration within the framework of project-specific contractual conditions with suppliers and (sub-)contractors (back-to-back, flow-down).

**Your profile**:

- 10+ years of professional experience as a Senior Contract Manager and/or Senior Claim Manager, preferably within international EPC turnkey projects (chemical, energy and / or mining industry) with volumes up to hundreds-of-million.
- Bachelor’s - or ideally Master’s Degree in a commercial or a legal discipline.
- Expertise in establishing complex project scenarios and respective profound knowledge in contract management as well as subcontracting tools.
- Experience in working with executive management, contractors and internal & external stakeholders.
- Proven records of leading international teams respective intercultural awareness as well as ability to leverage cultural differences and motivating the team to foster high-performance outcomes.
- Modern leadership style with a collaborative mindset, working on equal footing with other functions and seeing collective success as the focus of actions.
- Ability to develop valuable relations within a complex, multicultural organization based on strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional organization and coordination skills combined with the ability to work under high pressure while still meeting highest level of results.
