**Key responsibilities**:
**Business Reporting & Analysis**
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that provide a holistic view of business performance, including operational, strategic, and commercial metrics specific to freight forwarding
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (Power BI, CargoWise, Project management tools, manual inputs, etc.) into clear, actionable insights
- Prepare executive-level reporting packs that include narrative summaries, visualizations, and strategic commentary
**Commercial & Strategic Insights**
- Track and report on commercial initiatives, market developments, and partnership performance within the freight forwarding sector
- Support strategic planning cycles with data-backed insights and scenario modeling
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic reviews
**Revenue & Pipeline Monitoring**
- Collaborate with Sales, operations, and Finance to monitor revenue performance, sales pipeline health, and customer trends
- Identify risks and opportunities in revenue streams and provide early warnings or recommendations
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Act as a liaison between business units to ensure consistent and aligned reporting practices
- Translate complex data into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders
- Support internal communications with reporting that highlights progress on key initiatives and goals
**Skills, knowledge and expertise**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business reporting, commercial analysis, or strategic planning
- Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Strong proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, others) and data visualization
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems
- Strong business acumen and curiosity about how different functions contribute to overall performance
- Strategic thinker with a structured and self-driven approach
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple data sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling business narratives
