Product Security Team Lead

**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As Product Security Team Lead, you will be managing one of the Product Security teams, consisting with experienced security experts who drive proactive security topics across multiple Zalando business units. For this position, your main goal is to protect our Customer Journey. You will ensure the delivery of Zalando's most critical and impactful cybersecurity improvements, with a broad impact on our customers and partners. The Product Security Team oversees a large portfolio of initiatives that contribute to the security and privacy of our 49+ million active customers and drive fundamental changes in the company to enable a secure and compliant execution of our strategy.

You draw upon your past immersion of working in an agile and iterative environment, focusing on delivering projects effectively with efficient reporting to boost cross-functional teams and projects
- Proven track record working in a complex tech environment as a leader. You speak the language of business as well as engineering and understand the process of moving from the first ideation to eventual go-live and handover.
- Highly motivated team player and an expert in managing conflicts and priorities with both teams and stakeholders. You take responsibility for your tasks and work in an independent and structured manner.
- Innovator by heart and keep fresh by looking for new ways to do things. You are able to put new tools and concepts into practice in a diverse, living and ever-growing organization and regularly reflect on your own work and share feedback in a constructive way.
- Ideally experience with security in cloud-native environments (e.g. AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, Docker.
- Security certifications like CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS Security are nice to have.
