Proclinical are working alongside a biotech corporation who are currently recruiting for a Director Clinical Operations (Oncology) to join their team. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Germany. The client is focused on improving people's health.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the resource planning for your team project teams, guiding the hiring procedures, training and evolving the team.
- You will handle operational tactical and oversight oof various programs and project teams.
- To acknowledge problems and serve as a member of the governance structure to guarantee execution of clinical programs/studies in an efficient and timely manner, you will serve as an operational interface with external associates/suppliers.
- To meet program goals and assist in completing objectives, you will form and maintain efficient communication and cooperation with functional area peers, as well as leaders.
- Run functional excellence through executing novel and best-in-class processes linked to clinical trial implementation, assisting in forming international standards and best practices.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Several years of experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech or pertinent organisation and within an international clinical development leadership role for cross-functional teams.
- Acquaintance with international clinical trials in all phases with various years of experience in handling direct documents.
- Deliberation and communication skills both verbally and in writing to senior management.
- Familiarity with outlining and implementing tactics.
- Able to lead a team with seniority and confidence.
- Knowledge in electronic data systems as well as technical solutions such as eTMF, IWRS, EDC, etc., as well as developing presentation material.
