This team of hardworking, creative and passionate professionals is guiding new customers on a journey that can see them leave the limitations of legacy platforms behind and move forward with a new class of enterprise management cloud. About the Role

To grow our team in Germany, we are looking for an experienced and inspiring sales leader for our Large Enterprise & Major Account Sales Organisation in one of the most innovative and exiting cloud companies in the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for our three sales teams in the Large and Major enterprise segment and will play a key role in Workday's accelerated growth in Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Development: Lead and empower three experienced sales directors and their teams of passionate and enthusiastic account executives and foster collaboration, coaching, and continuous development.
- Strategy and Growth: Develop and implement the right sales strategy & tactics as well as compelling sales programs to win remaining whitespace accounts and attain customers from our competitors.
- Market Knowledge: Leverage your excellent knowledge of the German market and industries. Monitor trends and competitive activity to continuously adapt sales strategies.
- Market Entry: Create and follow through on market entry strategies into emerging industries such as FSI and, or Public Sector to expand Workday’s industry coverage and accelerate revenue from new routes to market.
- Partnerships: Build, nurture and expand strategic partnerships with Workday’s integrators, advisors, and other partners to improve our market position.
- Pipeline Management: Define and implement professional and high-quality pipeline and demand generation strategies and tactics to ensure a sufficient pipeline coverage for each team and sales colleague. Ensure successful collaboration with extended teams such as CSD, Partner Management, Marketing.
- Professional Deal Execution: Ensure a clear structure and efficient processes in sales to guarantee successful deal execution, achieve sales targets and drive new revenue in Germany. Your teams will manage complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of Business Development, Marketing, Value Management, Solution Consulting as well as Partner Management.
- Cultural Ambassador: Drive the Workday culture and foster cross-group collaboration

About You

Basic qualifications
- Several years of management (2nd line) experience in the sales of enterprise software solutions, ideally in the cloud environment
- Proven track record in building and managing high-performance sales team
- Experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies

Other qualifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills as well as an executive presence
- Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented approach
- Experienced in driving new logo acquisition, preferably
