We are seeking a business minded and experienced legal professional with a hands-on attitude to join our Global Legal team as a Legal Counsel for Germany to support our management and business operations in various legal matters.

**Your key responsibilites**:

- Responsibility for managing the day to day operational needs of all KC businesses in Germany
- Managing the corporate matters of the various legal entities in Germany and advising local Management Board on corporate matters
- Providing legal advice within the area of expertise to functional or operational area managers
- Drafting, reviewing, modifying and approving contracts related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example sales agreements, procurement agreements, IT agreements, loans, leases, purchase agreements, employment contracts) to protect the organization's legal and business interests;
- Coordinating the use of external counsels in litigations and other legal proceedings
- Assisting and implementing relevant Group policies and instructions in Germany
- Providing legal and compliance trainings to related stakeholders
- Assisting in insurance related questions

**What should you bring?**
- Qualified German lawyer (2nd state exam in law in Germany) with practical and academic knowledge in the relevant areas of law
- At least five years of work experience in an international environment in a law firm or in a similar in-house position.
- Basic business sense and interests to approach issues from both legal and business perspectives.
- Good professional skills in commercial, corporate, anti-trust, intellectual property, and privacy legislation
- Excelent oral and written skills in English and in German are a must for successful performance
- Ability to work under multi-business units/ countries
