**Job title**:Legal Counsel - Employment law

**Location**: Dusseldorf, Germany

Our client, a leading ICT company is looking for a Legal Counsel to joins its Legal Team in Dusseldorf, supporting its HR department on employment law.

We are looking for a team player with a commercial mind-set and excellent interpersonal skills, seeking to take action and to contribute in a dynamic organization and business domain to a positive and fun work environment.

**What you will do**:

- You will support the HR Department and management with respect to individual labour law
- You will be drafting official documents and policies, to be issued by the company and/or business units
- You will support (and later lead) compliance management of the business activities, monitoring and safeguarding labour law compliance
- Deal with complex matters across all legal and related business areas
- Provide an overall legal support and consultancy to the relevant departments of the company
- Support claim handling and dispute management while proactively manage outside legal counsel's quality and cost
- Qualified German lawyer with (first) experience as an attorney-at-law in a law firm and/or in a legal department, focusing on labour law, data protection as well as other compliance requirements in Germany
- Strong communicative competences and mastery in German and English for negotiation purposes, in writing and orally
- First experience or interest in reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, ensuring that all the contracts follow legal requirements and company policies
