Corporate Underwriting Cyber (CU Cyber) is looking for an experienced colleague who enjoys working in a highly dynamic environment, contributing creative ideas and proactively pushes topics forward. CU Cyber is a central division within Munich Re Group holding two main responsibilities:

- Bundling cyber insurance expertise in order to efficiently support the business units in writing profitable cyber insurance and developing new business segments in cyber.
- Keeping the risk management function for this new line of business. Amongst others this includes the assessment of accumulation potentials, maintaining portfolio transparency, developing underwriting standards and driving projects on cyber innovation and investments.

Your focus will be on cyber accumulation risk management by constantly improving existing internal models, reviewing external vendor models and supporting the development of new ones where necessary considering the ever evolving cyber risk environment.

**Your Job**
- Ensuring a comprehensive up-to-date view of the cyber threat landscape and the cyber scenarios with the highest accumulation potential for Munich Re
- Making sure that Munich Re uses best in class models to quantify the identified accumulation potential from our cyber portfolio by constantly enhancing internally developed models or licensing external ones
- Closely monitoring Munich Re’s cyber exposure and cooperate with other central internal risk management units, e.g. for Group Internal Model or for the Annual Planning process
- Setting underwriting guidelines on accumulation of cyber risks in cooperation with other relevant CU units
- Closely working on quantitative methods and tools for assessing cyber risks, cyber data management and analytics
- Providing support and guidance to the operative units about actuarial cyber topics
- Representing Munich Re on actuarial cyber topics (e.g. at customer and market events)
- Closely cooperating with experts across Munich Re Group on the aforementioned aspects

**Your Profile**
- Very strong analytical, conceptual, and quantitative skills (e.g. university degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics or similar)
- Creativity, flexibility and enjoyment working on innovative topics in a very dynamic and quickly changing environment
- Pronounced ability to understand and solve complex problems holistically and solution-oriented
- Knowledge of (cyber) re/insurance and project management experience are an advantage
- Excellent presentation skills
- Very good command of spoken and written English
