Head of Transfer Agency and Emea Application Development Technology, Managing Director

Who we are looking for

This is a key leadership role with oversight of the State Steet’s European Application portfolio as well as head of our global Transfer Agency platforms. The position requires a senior, experienced leader that has a proven track record leading teams over a large span of technical platforms. Technology leadership experience combined with financial services knowledge and large program oversight will be critical skills for this role. Communication with executive management and clients will also be an important aspect for this role.

What you will be responsible for

As head of global Transfer Agency platforms, you will assume responsibility for all TA platforms globally spanning North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. Transfer Agency system experience is a strong plus here. Goals of this role will be to deploy new TA systems, manage existing ones and work with our Product and Global Delivery teams to devise and implement a global strategy for our TA Portfolio.

- Strong understanding of Financial Services including Transfer Agency platforms
- Knowledge of Fund Accounting, Fund Administration and Asset Servicing is a big plus.
- Proven leadership abilities including the ability to work with senior leadership on planning, execution, transparency, and reporting
- Effective communication both up and down in the organization is important as well as experience working with clients directly
- Experience leading teams in a variety of legacy and cloud-based platforms is also important
- Experience developing on public cloud environments and/or experience with migration to a public cloud environment is a strong plus

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree is a plus
- Experience in leadership positions tied to software development and delivery.
