More recently, Life Science started to build a portfolio of Digital products and services ranging across all business units. To accelerate our success in this space, we are looking for the Director Commercial Digital Products in DiCE team (Digital Center of Excellence) Commercial to spearhead the capability buildingacross theLifesciencebusiness.At this point our digital business is organizeddecentrally, many teams invest in capability building independently.

If successful the Director of Commercial Digital Products will make a mission critical contribution to a consistent user experience across all ourcustomer touch points, an upgrade of our lead-to-order processesand an acceleration of future product launches.

**Your role**
- You will build and run the central commercial go-to expert team for a growing number of teams building digital solutions throughout theLifescienceorganization.
- Understand customer buying / customer engagement processes for all our solutions, identify best practices and opportunities for collaboration
- Facilitate joint marketing and sales efforts (campaigning, commercial processes,...)and establish corresponding performance monitoring
- This collaboration will over time help set standards for our business and to definemigration/ adoptionpathsfor these standards(where feasible).You willownthe evolutions of these standards and make sure they always remainstate of the art.
- You will represent the combined digital solutions portfolio externally (conferences, key account events,...)

**Who areyou**
- You have a proven track record in marketing and selling digitalsolutions(e.g.license and subscription models, ecosystem / platform solutions, etc.)
- You can demonstrate a good understanding ofthemarket dynamics around digital solutions in theLifescienceindustry, and youcome with a proven understanding of correspondingmanagement routines and strategies.
- You are a proven leader of complex change and transformation projectsand understand the need for cross departmental collaboration.Ideally you can rely on an established networkin the Merck organization to drive thiskind of change.
- You have a 'get stuff done' mentality.
- English is amust,consulting background is appreciated.
