Position Overview

The Product Delivery Director is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive control and completion of all VI-grade’s simulator projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. This includes working with the clients on the building that hosts the simulator, coordinating with procurement the selection of suppliers and working with the implementation teams around the world to install and commission a simulator.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the VI-grade Product Delivery Team- Support sales team during the quoting process in particular with regard to customer specific requirements- Be involved in the order acceptance process- Project planning- Establish and check bill of material (hardware and software)- Identification of international partners to support installations- Coordinate procurement for driving simulator projects- Conduct regular project review meetings with procurement, logistics, engineering, production- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery- Continuously work on process improvement together with sales admin team

Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering- 10+ years’ experience in project management- Proficiency in project management software tools- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management- Fluent in English. Knowledge of the German language will be a plus.
