Office Team Lead

As Office Team Lead you are responsible for a mid-sized team that manages all processes required to run 2 outstanding office spaces located directly at Hamburg’s famous Alster lake for a total of 250 people. The Office Teams’ mission is to contribute to the success of our 5 portfolio companies by providing reliable office services and making people happy. You are responsible for managing contractors, suppliers and all the required processes to make the company run smoothly.

**What you will do**:

- Managing a team responsible for office processes, like:

- Refilling food, fruits, and beverages
- Managing suppliers, cleaning companies, and other external partners
- Taking care of gym facilities
- Ordering goods and hardware for employees
- Organizing events such as Kickoffs, Team lunches etc.
- Administrating modern tools like our business trip booking tool
- Welcoming guests to our office
- Continuously improving processes that are related to an efficiently running office
- Leading people of your respective team (provide regular feedback and development guidance, set goals, help prioritize, create a nice team atmosphere)
- Upon request, organizing events for our ventures or teams
- With support, implementing software tools to improve facility and office management
- Taking care of inventory (hardware) management
- Managing stakeholders like architects for interior and construction companies

**Requirements**:

- 100% on-site work in our beautiful Hamburg-based offices
- Fluent in German & English
- Experience in managing a support/service team of at least few people
- Background in office
- or hotel management
- Process driven, interested in details, ability to handle multiple tasks parallel
- Successfully and proactively steering external partners like services companies (construction companies, housekeeping & cleaning companies)
- Structured communication with different internal stakeholders like our companies’ Managing Directors, other support teams and in company meetings
- Ideally experience with ‘’health & safety’’ topics
- Mindset: solution-oriented, pragmatic driven, hands-on, proactive, not overwhelmed by 1000 ever-changing different tasks, able to lead multiple sometimes junior team members
