**Your role**
- Are you well organized and ready to work in a dynamic environment? Are you passionate about European regulatory and governance topics? We are looking for a Corporate Governance Specialist for UBS Europe SE (UBS ESE) who:
- acts as an advisor for UBS ESE governance related topics like organizational structures and committee set-up as well as reporting lines
- performs assessments of the initial and ongoing suitability of UBS ESE Management Board and Supervisory Board members including the orchestration of the regulatory required processes (Fit & Proper)
- analyzes regulatory developments and newly applicable Laws and Regulations for the identification of impacts on UBS ESE governance
- maintains the UBS ESE governance documents & Legal Structure Database (LSDB) for UBS ESE entities and ensures its continuous up-to-dateness
- prepares Senior Management briefings for internal and external (regulatory) meetings and provides governance input to strategic UBS projects
- develops and maintains relationships with different UBS ESE and UBS Group stakeholders, in particular with UBS ESE Business and Function Heads as well as UBS ESE Branch Representatives and
- drives continuous improvement and simplification of UBS ESE governance structures and processes

**Your team**
- You will be part of the UBS ESE Governance team and directly report into the UBS ESE Head of Governance and Monitoring, Surveillance and Controls (MS&C). The team acts as gatekeeper of the corporate governance principles and regulations throughout UBS ESE and has strong interaction with regional and global colleagues. UBS ESE Governance is part of the UBS ESE Group Compliance, Regulatory and Governance (GCRG) remit. You can be located in any UBS ESE location.

**Your expertise**
- Preferred skills and attributes are:
- a university degree in economics or law and a minimum of 2 years working experience in the financial industry
- strong analytical skills and being keen on laws and regulations; base knowledge in ECB/EBA and national regulations on Governance would be advantageous
- well organized and able to prioritize urgent and important tasks as well as independent working attitude
- good communication skills with excellent verbal and written English language skills and being persuasive in a challenging environment
- the ability to deal with confidential information in a compliant manner
- pro-active and positive mindset (Can Do-mentality)
- ability to build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and to work as a collaborative and proactive member of a team, also remotely
- a diligent way of working and consistently striving for optimization/streamlining of process and working practices
- strong MS-Office skills and digital attitude
