While alternative fuels and new hardwares are being developed for tomorrow, digital technology that can drive efficiency and optimisation will make the difference _today_. _The latest venture to be launched by Flagship Founders will combine an innovative new business model with technological cunning to generate enormous value to the sector while reducing fuel consumption and carbon footprint.

We will support you in building your team, setting up your company and securing the funding to get going. Over the next 6 - 12 months you will focus on product/market fit, building the team and raising your first round of outside investment. And after that, up and to the right

With a strong background in shipping, venture capital, successful start-ups and top-tier consulting, we’ve got the domain expertise, industry and startup networks, and a solid track record in company building to maximise your chance of success.

**Your mission**:
As the Co-Founder, you will be fully responsible for the strategy, growth and overall success of your company.
- Attract, retain and develop a world-class team.
- Set the tone, build the culture, be a role model.
- Drive product and tech development.
- Own all legal and compliance matters.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and growth.
- Build a sound, scalable organisation structure and processes.
- Own and control finance, from top/bottom line performance and controlling to financing rounds.
- Be the face of the company to the outside world, establish partnerships and build a strong presence in the market.

**Your profile**:

- A true founder mindset. Hands-on, driven, resilient, not taking no for an answer. Fully aware that being a founder comes with a strong upside but none of the economic security of a corporate career - and happy with it.
- Real passion for sustainability and willing to change the status quo for a greener future.
- A track record and experience on the commercial side of the maritime industry.
- Product and technology expertise and enthusiasm for digital solutions.
- A solid academic background or relevant work/start-up experience.
- Fluent English. German is a plus. So are other languages.
- Proven people leadership and effective communication.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, happy to make decisions under pressure and with incomplete information.
- A good sense of humour and a great team player.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
- Creative problem solving.
