Join our early-stage venture **Ceressy** as Co-Founder and CEO. Start with a validated concept and tested idea as well as initial funding to bring your venture and your team to speed from day one. Based in Germany (Berlin and Mannheim), we work with ambitious founding team to build a scalable, high-growth digital ventures that will shape the future of food industry globally.

Ceressy is a neutral third-party matchmaking platform helping farmers find, compare & enquire for all relevant Ag-Tech products & services that can make their farming more efficient, sustainable, and profitable. We are a purpose-driven start-up with a mission to serve & empower everyone who is driving food security.

We are looking for a self-driven and ambitious co-founder, who will shape the overall business direction of the venture and take it to the next level. Thanks to the backing of one of the industry leaders’ incubator, we’ve got the industry and startup networks, domain expertise and a solid support in company building to maximize our chance of success.

**Your role**:

- As the Co-Founder and CEO, you will be fully responsible for the strategy, growth and overall success of your company
- Lead the financing rounds and maintain investor relations
- Attract, retain and develop a world-class team
- Set the tone, build the culture, be a role model
- Build a sound, scalable organisation structure and processes
- Drive product and tech development
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and growth
- Own and control finance, from top/bottom line performance and controlling
- Own all legal and compliance matters
- Be the face of the company to the outside world, establish partnerships and build a strong presence in the market

- Proven success in leading the funding rounds for a startup
- Comfortable with ambiguity, happy to make decisions under pressure and with incomplete information.
- A solid academic background, preferably with a degree in business, economics, science or engineering.
- Experience in e-commerce or digital community platform is a strong plus
- Agricultural experience is a plus
- Proven people leadership and effective communication.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
- Creative problem solving.
- Fluent in English, and at least one more European language
