We are on the hunt for a visionary Interim Head of Product & Development based in Germany to set sail with us from our HQ in Berlin. You will lead our Product & Development teams responsible for the platform that provides unbeatable deals and useful, helpful content to encourage our millions of followers and subscribers to explore the world. As the Head of Product and Development, you will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, overseeing development processes, and nurturing a culture of innovation and collaboration. **DUTIES ON DECK**:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with HolidayPirates' business objectives. Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends and customer needs to enhance our products and services.
- Team Management: Inspire and mentor a diverse team of product managers, engineers, developers, and technical professionals. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning. Promote collaboration across departments to achieve collective goals.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our platform. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement best practices in software development, infrastructure management, and data architecture.
- User Experience & Design: Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, focusing on usability, accessibility, and delight. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing experiences that drive engagement and retention.
- Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights. Communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities effectively to the executive team.

**YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior leadership role within a technology-driven organization, preferably in the online travel or e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, agile development practices, and digital innovation.
- Demonstrated track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate product strategies and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term planning and business impact.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and disruption.
