**Sustainability & ESG Specialist (M/F/x)**:
We are looking for a forward-thinking and quality driven person who supports the sustainability department on a European level in the implementation and continuation of various ESG projects to ensure the realization of the global sustainability vision for the company

In this new role, you will report to the Director Sustainability within our HR department with a strong focus on human rights, especially the implementation of the requirements of the German Supply Chain Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG) and related topics.

**Tasks and key responsibilities**:

- You actively support various sustainability projects in all three ESG areas, i.e. environment, social/employees and the implementation of existing as well as upcoming legislation on sustainability.
- In some projects, esp. related to human rights, you will have a stronger responsibility in coordinating and leading projects (e.g. LkSG.)
- You identify potential issues and actively look for creative solutions in the projects assigned to you
- You conduct benchmarks in the ESG area and evaluate the results
- As an enthusiastic all-round talent, you bring in your creativity and make suggestions to advancing the sustainability agenda
- You actively cooperate with different departments across the company and coordinate their views and needs on various topics related to sustainability
- You work in a virtual matrix organization with stakeholders at diverse levels (local, regional, corporate and with our global colleagues in Japan and US)

**Professional experience and personal skills**:

- University degree in area of sustainability, business administration, social sciences or similar courses of study
- 1-3 years of experience in the sustainability/ESG area is of advantage
- Willingness to learn and proactively take on new tasks and challenges
- Abilityt o work cross-functionally and internationally
- High communication and networking skills
- Creative and oriented towards problem-solving
- Pragmatic, objective, proactive, ambitious
- Excellent MS office skills
- Fluent in English and German
