Key ambition for this role will be building the scalability of the Tourlane business that will allow us to sharpen our competitive advantage across the key pillars: customer facing, trip planning and automation, supply offering.

**WHAT IS THE ROLE ABOUT?**:

- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company based on the company's vision and business goals.
- Oversee the system design and architecture to come up with a scalable and reliable system.
- Provide technological structure to gather and continuously analyze the E2E data loop to drive optimized conversions through the entire system funnel.
- Leading all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, strategic planning, design/architecture, execution, deployment, and maintenance
- Outline the goals for research and development.
- Managing technology area budget and costs.
- Building quality assurance and data protection processes, ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Interact with the key customers on their specific needs regarding Tourlane platform, integration, and future features.
- Identify new trends and best practices in the technology landscape that can be leveraged for Tourlane's business strategy.
- Build and lead a software development team composed of internal and external people: scaling up from 40 to 120 people. Organizational structure, performance and career development, coaching and mentoring.

**WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?**:
Background:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience overall with 5+ years in leadership level roles in B2C, OTA or E-Commerce sectors
- Background in Software Engineering/Platform Engineering
- Experience building the reliable technology landscape in the hyper growth/scaling up phase in the start-up environment would be highly desirable
- Experience in building and managing engineering teams: size of 100-120 people

**Skills**:

- Stakeholders management (C-level and above) and relationships building skills
- Customer-centric and data-driven mindset
- Drive for results and proactive hands-on approach when required
- People management/Leadership skills
- Fluency in English, a second language literacy is a plus
